The Tools Behind Every Arrangement

We've spent years figuring out what actually works when it comes to getting flowers from our growers to your office reception in perfect condition. Some of it's high-tech tracking systems, some of it's just really good refrigerators and people who care about what they're doing.

Fresh Stems Don't Wait for Anyone

Here's what we learned pretty quickly: flowers start losing their magic the second they're cut. You can't just stick them in a warehouse and hope for the best.

Our temperature-controlled storage keeps things at exactly 2-4°C from the moment arrangements leave our workshop until they're in your building. The trucks have the same cooling setup. We track humidity levels because roses get cranky when the air's too dry, and orchids basically give up if you let them get warm.

Every delivery gets logged with timestamps and GPS coordinates. Not because we're control freaks (okay, maybe a little), but because when someone calls asking where their Monday morning arrangement is, we can tell them exactly which intersection the driver just passed.

How We Got Here

Building systems that work for corporate flower delivery meant figuring out a lot of things the hard way. These are the moments that actually changed how we operate.

2019 - Started with Spreadsheets

Our first delivery tracking system was literally an Excel file that three people edited simultaneously. It crashed constantly. But it taught us what information we actually needed to track versus what just cluttered things up.

2021 - Custom Software Build

We hired a developer who understood databases but had never touched a flower in his life. Took six months of back-and-forth before he got why we needed to track stem thickness and water quality. The system he built is still what runs our orders today.

2023 - Temperature Sensors Changed Everything

Added wireless sensors to every cooler and delivery vehicle. Found out our afternoon driver was turning off the truck cooling to save fuel. That explained a lot of wilted complaints. Problem solved in two days once we had the data.

2025 - Real-Time Client Access

Your office manager can now check delivery status from their phone without calling us. Seems obvious in hindsight, but it took years to build a portal that's actually simple enough that people use it.

Systems Coordinator

Ilaria joined us in 2020 after working in pharmaceutical cold chain logistics. She's the one who convinced us that tracking flower freshness wasn't that different from tracking vaccine temperatures. Now she manages all our monitoring systems and training for warehouse staff. If something goes wrong with a delivery, she usually spots it in the data before the client even calls. She keeps saying we should add more sensors to track light exposure, and honestly, she's probably right.
